HOn3 Blackstone Track

Just a quick little tip:

You probably have already heard Blackstone released HOn3 "snap track" based on Kato's popular Unitrack design.  What you might not know is that Blackstone's track is UniJoiner compatible.

I have a handful of Blackstone equipment that I wanted to play with but I don't (yet) have a working HOn3 layout.  I wanted to pickup some of the track so I could use my gear but I didn't want the oval starter set because A.) I don't have the space for it, B.) I'd never run any of my Blackstone stuff on the carpet, and C.) it was a little more than I want to spend for something I won't use a whole lot.

My solution was to grab a few packages of straight track along with some Terminal UniJoiners from the N-scale section of Caboose Hobbies on a gamble hoping they'd fit.  They did and they work perfect.  This allowed me to skip buying the oval starter kit which had curved pieces I didn't need and I didn't have to ruin one of the straight pieces by soldering wires directly too it.
