Doing Some Kit Work

I've just been up to doing some small detailing and kit work here and there.  Several months ago I purchased...

• Microtrains Undecorated Reefer (HOn3)
• Rail-line D&RGW Boxcar Kit (HOn3)
• LaBelle N.C.N.G Boxcar Kit (HOn3)

...and have finally been giving them attention.

I finished loading all the details onto the Microtrains Reefer, and it's now just awaiting painting, decaling, and weathering.

I also started on the LaBelle boxcar kit.

The Labelle kit is certainly a lot more work, being a "craftsman" style kit, however it comes with every detail you'll ever need (including decals and painting notes) and seems thus far a good deal for the price.  Certainly every car in my fleet can't be a Labelle, as that would take a millennium to finish, but I think I'll keep looking at these for special cars (like an RPO).
