SJC as a Shelf Layout - Part 2

With the basic locations and industries staked out it's time to get down to work.  That means 1.) laying out the track to get everything to fit, 2.) figuring out the ideal section breaks, 3.) polishing up the shape of the benchwork, and 4.) figuring out things that were missed.

When I was dropping track I realized that because the layout style is changing from continuous (folded oval) into point-to-point it means that when the train arrives at Tincup it needs a way to turn around to make the return trip.  To this end I added a turntable in Tincup which wasn't in the original.  Being that it's right next to a mountain it gives some possibilities for interesting scenery (ala Denver & Rio Chama Western style high cribbing).

Cool.  With that in place it's mainly a matter of fitting in the structures and scenery....

Not all of the buildings are in, but you can see it coming together.
